Why Insurance Is So Important

Auto insurance agencies are basically the middlemen of the car insurance world. Most agencies do not underwrite the policy you buy from them. In most cases they are there to take your money, process your claims, and answer any questions you may have. The policy is usually covered by one of the large insurance companies. For example if you go into The John Doe Insurance Agency and purchase coverage, you may only deal with John Doe, but most of your money will be paid to a large carrier that is responsible for funding any claims you may have.
